Various paintings, sculptures, and relics depict Goa’s rich history and Christian heritage. The Archaeological Survey of India looks after the building and keeps the original brickwork intact. 

It is well-known for housing St. Francis Xavier’s mortal remains, which are open to the public for a week to ten days every ten years. Although photographing and filming inside the church is strictly prohibited, you are welcome to do so outside. Make sure you’re dressed appropriately; otherwise, you won’t be allowed in. Bring plenty of water and a hat to protect yourself from the scorching sun. If you enjoy architecture and history, or if you simply want some spirituality and self-reflection, this is a great addition to your Goa itinerary.

The Church is extremely beautiful and well worth a visit, and it is also not overly crowded. The gardens are lovely.

Easy to reach from Panaji’s main square. It is a must-see attraction because of its cultural and architectural significance.

The area is beautiful and fun to explore. I went on a public holiday, so it was crowded; I recommend avoiding holiday dates.

I arrived on Christmas Eve, so night mass preparations were in full swing. And the church entrance was locked.

Photography with a DSLR/mobile device is permitted.

Parking is scarce but difficult to come by. You must park on the side of the road. You can also park near the main church. Opposite the area where the cruise begins.

This church is located in the heart of Panjim. This church appears to be beautiful from the outside and the weekends will be busier.

Beautifully built and architecturally rich. Excellent view that has been well maintained. The Goa Panjim bus station and the industrial area are both within walking distance.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The road is too narrow for a four-wheeler. A two-wheeler or cycling trip is a better option. Early morning or evening for sunset very peaceful and overlooking the new highway road. Please do not leave any trash.

Beautiful rustic chapel with a great view and a strong connection to the greater energy. A fantastic location for a wedding. This location was visited for a friend’s wedding. The choir was regarded as one of the best in the country.

There is plenty of parking. The location was fantastic.

Built in the 15th century, the place is located on the hilltop of Margao city and provides a panoramic view of the entire city, which is very beautiful and well worth a visit.

Daily masses are held at 7 a.m., and Sunday services are held at 8.30 a.m. There is plenty of parking in the chapel compound. It’s a gated compound, so parking is only permitted when the gates open.

The church is located at the top of a hill known as Monte Hill. Fantastic location, especially for a sunset stroll. This church and location have appeared in several Bollywood films, including Bhootnath.

Nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. Because it is located on top, you can see the entire Margao city from here.

The best time to visit is in the late evenings. Lovely church. The architectural design is fantastic. The garden is kept in good condition. However, there are no nearby food or water facilities, so keep that in mind.

The beauty of this church is at night…though you can’t see inside, you can enjoy the exterior beauty. Spend time on benches or on the lawn…If you want to go inside, you must adhere to the timetable.

This location is extremely tranquil. You can spend the evening with your loved ones. The church’s architecture is stunning, and the night view is breathtaking.
