Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Marine Watch Keeping Engineers to join our team at Mormugao Port, beginning in October 2023. As a Marine Watch Keeping Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transhipper. Qualifications:
Class IV (FG) or Class IV with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and watchkeeping duties.
Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills.
A proactive and safety-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain constant vigilance over the ship’s engine room and equipment.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs as necessary.
Monitor fuel consumption and engine performance.
Respond promptly to any emergency situations.
Maintain accurate watchkeeping records.
Collaborate effectively with other crew members.
