18 postage stamps and tool-kit booklets focusing on 18 distinct forms of craftsmanship were released during the program.

The artisans associated with these 18 disciplines were personally honored by Prime Minister Modi through citation.

Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana aims to link the skill ecosystem of the country with the needs of artisans.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Vishwakarma Yojana

Qualification: Eligible candidates must be engaged in traditional artisanship or craftsmanship activities. It includes various occupations such as carpentry, blacksmithing, weaving, pottery, sculpture, and other traditional artisan crafts.

Recognition and Support: Program participants will receive a PM Vishwakarma certificate and identity card. They are eligible for collateral-free loan assistance, up to ₹1 lakh in the first installment and up to ₹2 lakh in the second installment, both at a concessional 5% interest rate.
