Submission of Documents for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholarship Scheme

Upon successful online form submission, an email confirmation will be sent immediately to the applicant. To finalize the application, candidates must submit a hard copy of this email, accompanied by a passport-sized photograph and self-attested copies of relevant documents/certificates. 

This package should reach the Directorate of Higher Education office in New SCERT Building, Alto, Porvorim Goa by February 15, 2024, positively, either through Speed Post or hand delivery.

Selection Process for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholarship Scheme

The screening committee will be the first to review the application.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance.

The top 60 candidates will be chosen for an interview round.

The selection committee will conduct the interview.

The final candidate list will be prepared, and scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholarship Scheme

• The applicant’s age as of January 1st should not be more than 35 years.
• Applicants must have lived in Goa for a minimum of 15 years. If the applicant is of Goan origin and has studied for a minimum of seven years in Goa during his or her academic career, he or she may also apply.
• Applicants must have completed their 10th and 12th grades, as well as a postgraduate degree, preferably from a Goa-based institute. 
• The applicant must have been accepted into a postgraduate or doctoral program at a recognized university or institute. 
• An applicant who has passed a secondary school, high school, or graduation examination with Grace marks is not eligible

1. Scanned image of 10th-grade mark sheet and certificate
2. 12th-grade mark sheet and certificate
3. Certificate and mark sheet for graduation degree
4. Certificate of Birth
5. Valid Residence Certificate CGPA/FGPA to Percentage Conversion Formula for Graduation Issued by the Responsible Department/Institution/University Document/Certificate of Passing Entrance/Eligibility Test for Admission to PG/PhD Programme
6. Proof of residence and studies in Goa for at least SEVEN years if the applicant is of Goan origin and resides in Goa.
7. Bonafide Certificate

Upload the PDF documents and photographs.

After carefully reviewing the application form, submit it by pressing the submit button.

After successfully submitting the form, a message will appear on the screen, and you will receive an email containing the completed Google form.

Print the completed application and include a passport-size color photograph and cover letter.

Hard copies of the form should be sent to the Directorate of Higher Education, SCERT Building, Alto Porvorim, Goa 403521.
